This is an index to names of the deceased found in death, burial and funeral notices, obituaries, notices of postmortems, murder trials and life insurance pay-offs for the years listed.

 

The indexing was done by Julie Carr and updated by John Castle and Harry Warner.

Ingham County Genealogical Society (ICGS) wishes to express our great appreciation for Julie's time and efforts in undertaking this project and sharing this important resource with the genealogy community. We would also like to thank John and Harry for their work in updating the extractions.

As you read across the page, opposite the name of the deceased, the index shows the date of the newspaper (not a date of death), page and column for the newspaper in which the name will appear. The name may appear more than once in the same column and it may appear more than once in the same newspaper.
